IN THIS VIDEO, YOU WILL DISCOVER SOME EXERCISES TO IMPROVE YOUR DRIBBLING.
To practice, here are a few ball handling exercises.
First exercise: The no-look dribble
Standing still, dribble to one side of you, without looking at the ball
Once you're comfortable doing that, try it with your eyes closed
And once you're comfortable with both, start moving around slowly whilst dribbling with your eyes still closed, then try switching hands a couple of times
This exercise will help you to feel the ball without having to look at it so that you can look up and at your teammates instead
Second exercise: Dribbling in all directions
Bounce the ball back and forth dribbling on the sport and without changing hands
Do the same exercise but this time dribbling the ball from side to side
Third Exercise: Dribble sitting down
Sit down on the edge of a chair with your feet together in front of you
Dribble the ball underneath your legs.
This exercise will allow you to work on a fast and low dribble
Do all of these exercises with your stronger hand, and definitely with your weaker hand too so that you aren't limited to one side when attacking. Over to you!
