• 2 small finely-chopped onions
• 1/2 tsp finely-chopped garlic
• 1/2 tsp grated ginger
• 1/2 tsp lemon juice
• finely-chopped coriander leaves

Wash one cup of yellow pigeon peas (toor dal)
