Shashlik is a form of Shish kebab popular in India.
Ingredients:
• 500 g boneless chicken cubes (this can be a mix of breast and thigh)
• 2 green capsicums
• 3 onions
• 3 tomatoes
• 1 tsp garlic paste
• 1 tsp ginger paste
• 3 tbsp lemon juice
• 1 tsp chili power
• 150 g hung curd
• 1/2 tsp black salt
• 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
• 1 tsp roasted coriander seed powder
• 1 tsp chaat masala
• 1/2 tsp kasoori methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
• 50 g fresh cream
• 3 tsp roasted chickpea flour
• 2 tbsp oil
• 1 no green capsicum
• 3 onions
• 3 tomatoes

Place the chicken in a large dish along with the rest of the ingredients along, except the vegetables
Add 3 teaspoons of lemon juice,

One teaspoon of garlic paste

One teaspoon of ginger paste
1 teaspoon of ginger paste
One teaspoon of chilli paste
1 teaspoon of chilli paste
One teaspoon of roasted of cumin powder
1 teaspoon of roasted of cumin powder
One teaspoon of roasted coriander powder
1 teaspoon of roasted coriander powder
One teaspoon of chaat masala (all spice powder)
1 teaspoon of chaat masala
And 150g of hung curd

Thoroughly mix the chicken with the other ingredients and let it marinate for a couple of hours.
Then cut two green peppers

Two onions
2 onions
and tomatoes into skewer sized cubes

And add everything to the chicken, mix thoroughly and leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
Slide the chicken and the vegetables onto a bamboo or a metal skewer
Note that you need to soak the bamboo skewer in water for 30 minutes so that it does not burn.
Lay the chicken and vegetables the way you want and grill them
You can also use a grill pan to cook the skewers,
Grill the skewers for 10 minutes until they have a nice colour
Serve the skewers with coriander chutney
