How to Install a Shower Curtain

In this video we're going to learn how to install a shower curtain and an extendable, or telescopic, rail

A shower curtain helps retaining the warmth, prevents splashing and improves the look of your bathroom.

You will need an extendable shower rail, a shower curtain, a tape measure, curtain rings and a thick pencil.

There are 4 stages to this installation which will now be detailed.

STAGE 1: Determining the height

Determine the height at which you wish to place the rail. Using the thick pencil, make a mark on either side at the highest point.

STAGE 2: Measuring the distance between the walls

Measure the distance between the two walls in order to set the length of the extendable rail. Then, add 2 centimetres (1") to the length of the rail. This will allow the rail to be well fixed to the walls.

STAGE 3: Preparing the curtain

Thread the curtain rings through the holes in the fabric. Then slide the telescopic rail through the curtain rings.

STAGE 4: Placing the suction pads

Place the suction pads on both ends, then progressively position the rail from one wall to the other.
