Stretching the inner thighs
In this video, you will learn a stretching exercise for the inner part of the thighs.
This exercise is very simple. Sit on the floor, bend your legs in front of you and place the soles of your feet against each other.
Rest your arms on your legs, you can hold onto your ankles. Let your knees lower naturally towards the floor.
Keeping your back as straight as possible, lean forward from the hips.
You should feel the stretch around your groin.
A common mistake is forgetting to lower the knees properly: you may feel a stretch, but it will not be very effective. For a good stretch, get into position, lower your knees, then lean forward and lower them further by pressing gently on them with your elbows.
Have a go at these stretches, taking your time. Enjoy!
