INSTALL A CONCEALED SLIDING DOOR
Use a levelling laser to mark out where the partition structure will go
Trace the thickness of the entire partition
Mark the partition with a chalk line
Mount the housing structure for the sliding door following the manufacturer's instructions
Cut the tracks of rails you need down to size with cutters or snips
Mark the exact position of the rails taking into account the thickness of the BA13 plasterboard
Drill into the floor along the rail, insert adapted hammer-in plugs
Fix the rail to the ceiling using screws and plugs adapted to the ceiling material
Insert an upright stud between the two rails and fix it to the way
Then fix another upright stud to the side where the sliding door will go
Fix the upright stud to the other side of the side
Above the door, fix a rail along the length of the door
...then upright studs every 60cm
Check everything is levelled before finally fixing everything
Insert the last fixing screws for the door
The partitions have since been boarded, plastered and painted
Fix the hangers at the top of the door
...and the stoppers on the side
Insert the rollers into the partition track
Attach the door to the rollers
Tighten the nuts on the door and adjust its position with a spanner
Glue all the wood panels for the door
If needed, cut the panels with a tenon saw and mitre box
